What sizes does your threaded casing come in?

We can supply threaded casing in sizes from 15mm to 500mm and lengths up to 6M, we can slot pipe up to 710mm dia. In 6m lengths. Pipe sizes up to 350mm can be slotted in 12m lengths if needed, but this length does add freight problems in small numbers so we recommended 6m lengths as std.

what slot sizes, Lengths and patterns can we do?

Our slot sizes and patterns  are created by your needs but we do have a standard range these are
Blade widths 0.2mm to 3mm std.
Spacings  2mm to 10mm are standard
Types- Horizontal , vertical slots and Hole patterns
Standard patterns are 50mm 3 rows 0.5mm slots with 7mm spacing
80-300mm dia.   0.8mm slots with 10mm spacing horizontal cut and the number of rows depend on the pipe size.
We can slot any length from 1M to 12M lengths of pipe.
Vertical slots are machined in mainly drainage collection type pipes, such as 90mm slotted drain pipe, slot patterns are usually 4 rows 4mm slots 500mm pitch.
Many of our clients have specific needs so we have designed our machines to be able to be set up to meet your slotting requirements.

What type of threading and jointing systems do you have?

Pipes from 15mm to 500mm can be machined in our computer operated machines that have been designed specifically for machining our bore casings and pipes, over the years we have machines various jointing pipe systems, our standard thread is a square thread approx 8mm pitch and is a flush threaded right hand joint. Other jointing methods are tapered vee thread, parallel vee thread, Acme, Tripizodial, taper lock joint, glue joint, male female taper joint, taper thread joint, Barb and a taper push on sealed joint. These can be machined to your standards that may have to be meet such as ASTM F480 and DIN 4925.
For a quick joining time we have designed our special 2 start quick join thread, this helps you by saving the time in screwing it up as it now only takes half the time.

What materials can you thread and slot?

The main material that we use is UPVC pipe that is made to AS1477 and guarantees that it is only made from virgin material and no regrind.

ABS is also commonly used in deeper bores and where more chemical resistance is needed.

Where there is a potential for Hydro carbons to be in existence, HDPE  is a good material to be used, but you have to be aware that it floats. Not very good for bores, but where grouted properly no problem should occur.

Poly Prop can also be machined.

Steel and Stainless pipe is often threaded regularly in our workshop and has also been slotted.

How soon can we deliver?

Many of our standard products we keep in stock and we can deliver the next day, for a special client’s order we try to keep the delivery time to under a week but on many occasions we deliver the next day. Our larger projects were there are 1000’s of pipe take 3 to 8 weeks delivery. But we do have our “ iron Clad No holes Guarantee.” For our delivery time.
