Sand Content Kit
The FANN Sand Content Kit is a simple, accurate and inexpensive sieve and analysis apparatus for determining the sand content of drilling muds.

Mud Balance
For engineers requiring small size and maximum portability, the FANN Pocket Size Mud Balance is recommended. The scale reads from 5.8 to 17lb/gal and can b e extended from 15.8 to 27lb/gal by use of the weight extensions furnished in the base of the balance. The balance is made of plastic for corrosion protection and long life. Numbers and other markings remain sharp and easy to read even with rough use.

Marsh Funnel
The Marsh Funnel is used for routine viscosity determinations on almost every drilling rig. The measurement obtained is influenced considerable by rate of gelation and by the density of the fluid. Because of these variations, funnel viscosity determinations using the Marsh Funnel and Measuring Cup are reported in seconds per quart, which is the number of seconds for one quart of fluid to pass through a constant orifice size (3/16-in., 4.7mm).

Mud Cups
The 1000cc high-impact plastic measuring cup, which is graduated in cubic centimeters (cc) and fluid ounce (fl oz), is designed specifically for use with a Marsh Funnel Viscometer and the FANN Hand-Held Mixer. Lines are molded in to mark 350ml and one quart (32 fl oz) to aid in these tests. Stainless Steel Measuring Cups, which are graduated in cc and fluid ounces are also available when other measurements are needed.

Pocket pH Meter
The Pocket pH Meter provides a practical alternative to pH litmus paper. This easy-to-use instrument does the work of hundreds of rolls of indicator paper. With a resolution of 0.1pH and accuracy of +0.2pH, the Pocket pH meter is just as reliable as many laboratory models. State-of-the-art electronics and an easy-to-read digital display make this pH meter an absolutely ideal portable instrument.
Digital pH Meter
The Digital pH Meter is easy to operate, rugged, portable and compact. It measures only three inches by six inches and has a 5/16 inch high LCD display that may be read in all lighting conditions. The meter is battery operated and packaged in a rugged carrying case with one 9-vlt alkaline battery a permanently sealed combination probe, pH 4, 7 and 10 buffer capsules, plastic buffer bottles, and a comprehensive manual.

Slurry Test Kit
Fann’s Slurry Test Kit is a field-portable unit designed for measuring the properties of slurries formulated in the field. This kit allows laboratory-quality measurements of the following slurry properties:

• Viscosity
• Specific Gravity / Density
• pH
• Sand Content

All testing instruments are contained in a customized plastic carrying case. The case is durable, compact and provides convenient storage

MODEL 280 Rheometer
The FANN Model 280 Rheometer is a precision-built, rotational viscometer designed specifically for field testing rheological properties of drilling fluids. This Rheometer is operated at two rotational shear rates, and the readings obtained are used to determine the plastic viscosity and yield point of the frilling fluid being tested.

Basic Mud Testing Kit
The basic mud testing kit contains all the equipment required to determine density, viscosity and filtration rate. This equipment is contained in a stainless steel case for durability. This case is portable and when opened each piece of equipment s readily accessible

The Filter Press
The Filter Press units are constructed of anodized aluminum, stainless steel and chrome plated brass. Working pressure is 100psi and the filtering area is 7.1-in squared. This adheres to the current standards in the drilling industry.
